Thank you for visiting my online teaching and research portfolio!
I'm a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholar, a Harry Frank Guggenheim Emerging Scholar, and a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Waterloo. My work focuses on online extremism, radicalization, and digital cultures. I use both traditional mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) and computational methods to explore how harmful ideologies spread online that further leads to violence.
Beyond research and teaching, I enjoy gardening and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I'm also deeply committed to mentoring students and supporting their academic and personal growth. At the heart of my work is a passion for equity, critical thinking, and making research meaningful and accessible, both within and beyond academia.
This site contains links to some of my research, teaching materials, and a bit more information about me. You can also contact me.
